STAFF OF AVRASIYA TRANSLATION CENTER GOT ACQUAINTED WITH GABALA ARCHEOLOGICAL CENTER

Staff of Avrasiya Translation Center visited Gabala State Historical-Artistic Preserve. During the visit translators got to know better about the artifacts exhibited in the exhibition hall, as well as archeological excavation areas within the territory of the preserve.

Director of Gabala State Historical-Artistic Preserve, Zahir Karimov stated about it to the regional correspondent of AZERTAC.
Staff of the Translation Center was informed that the center that was officially opened by the President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to Gabala in 2014, consists of two exhibition halls (museum), modern restoration laboratory, conference hall, library, archeological fund and auxiliary premises. Material and cultural samples discovered during archaeological excavations in the area are recorded and transferred to the centers fund and shown to visitors in the exhibition hall. Currently about 2 thousand artifacts are exhibited here. More than 8 thousand domestic and international tourists, as well as official guests visited the center in 2019. Visitors of the center are provided with necessary information in the Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.

Then guests watched the film about the works conducted in the area of Gabala State Historical-Artistic Preserve and Archeological Center.
